To insert a picture, users can click the “Image” icon and choose the image they wish to add. After a textbox is placed and initial text has been added, users can click back into the textbox to add/revise the text. Once placed, users can add text by typing into the textbox. If users wish to add text, they can click the “Text Box” option and then click into the drawing where they wish the text box to appear before adjusting its size by dragging it into place. Users will first have to click the line or shape they wish to add and then click on their drawing where they want to the content added and drag it to adjust the size. Next, they can begin adding content to the drawing with the tools located on the menu bar.īoth the “Line” and “Shape” icons allow users to add a piece of content into their drawing. At this point, users can click the “Untitled Drawing” text on the top left of the screen to title their drawing. In addition to that, you also have the option to import excel files also.Google Drawings allows users to create diagrams, charts, images, figures and more! To begin, users must log into their Google Drive account and then launch Google Drawings. If you collect a lot of data and store it online you can connect cloud services like Google Drive and Dropbox. While you do have the option to add texts, edit fonts and insert shapes, what makes it stand apart is its ability to integrate with other apps like Flickr, Giphy, Slideshare, etc. It has a familiar UI with all the edit options stacked on the right. Similar to Canva, Infogram lets you not only make infographics but also YouTube thumbnails, Instagram posts, etc.

The personal upgradable option comes at $12/month which removes the two-minute video cap, provides download support, vast characters, and audio library. But, you get access to Animaker’s free library. Because it’s not a conventional infographic app, you cannot upload audio that can be used as a voice-over or background audio.

It doesn’t have icons per se but it lets you add human characters and custom clip-arts. There is a timeline at the bottom which lets you add scenes and edit the animation as well.
